Primary Role: This position is responsible for maintaining the molds in production ready status. They also will modify pools to fit production needs, by combining pools, changing depth and any alterations requested by our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and know how to use Material Safety Data Sheets.

  • Learn how to:

  • Properly clean, grind, sand, and buff molds.

  • Apply release agents to new molds.

  • Perform small cosmetic repairs, & large repairs with assistance.

  • Maintain and repair mold floor texture.

  • Follow safety procedures.

  • Must keep a clean work area.

While Physical requirements of the position include but are not limited to prolonged standing, frequent bending/reaching/stooping, overhead work and lifting up to forty (40) pounds.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, respirator, gloves, harness and/or protective outerwear are required. Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, heat (dependent upon weather conditions) and noise is typical.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in the field of Composites Manufacturing or equivalent preferred

  • Experience working with power tools and pneumatic tools.

  • Forklift experience preferred.

  • Auto body or drywall experience is helpful.
