Randstad provides full life cycle services to multiple clients for the development of electronic products across multiple industries. The R&D Technical Project Manager provides electronics design expertise in support of product development and manufacturing.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project budgets, finance, accounting, and technical project management, with a proven track record of managing research and development projects. This role is critical in ensuring our engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate team efforts to complete engineering project milestone deliverables on schedule.

• Track and report project budget and forecasts.

• Manage scope changes effectively.

• Communicate goals, progress, and process efficiencies to senior leadership.

• Own and improve specific project management processes.

• Coordinate with product management, program management, and engineering teams to document and supervise program requirements and technical specifications.

• Transform requirements into implementation roadmaps, balancing agile and waterfall methodologies to create achievable schedules and manage cross-functional dependencies.

• Identify and mitigate execution risks.

• Collaborate, build consensus, ensure accountability, and drive stakeholder alignment through effective and timely decision-making processes.

• Advocate for stakeholders regarding expectations and communicate to development teams.

• Lead programmatic meetings with an appropriate level of detail for respective audiences.

• Proactively coordinate meetings with cross-functional partners to address roadblocks, ensuring they are action-oriented and result in clear outcomes, decisions, and next steps with identified due dates.

• Release engineering artifacts, including product software, Bill of Materials, and release notes according to established processes.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of project or program management experience, managing project budgets and forecasts.

• Proven experience in managing projects or leading teams in product development.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and/or Smartsheet.

• Excellent leadership experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or a combination of equivalent education and relevant experience.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience in the Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, or Consumer Electronics industries.
