FUSE Network Business Manager in Zanesville, Ohio
The Fuse Network is looking for a skilled Business Manager to lead and supervise the work of our accounting functions of the organization. Superb interpersonal and leadership skills are vital for this role, as good teamwork is important for our business success. Suitable candidates should also be excellent written and verbal communicators, and possess the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
- *Prepares monthly financials to the Board of Directors and organization leadership. *Submit class and actual vs. budget monthly for Board meetings, presentation to the Board of Directors and work with Board finance committee.
- Assists in processing of billing to the State, OOD, MITS & OhioDD and any other program that the organization will be working with. Ensures that the accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with laws and regulations. Assess overall company performance.
- Applies principles of accounting to analyze past and present financial operations and estimates future revenues and expenditures to prepare budget
- Help organization leadership with the analyzing of operations in regards to budget.
- Assist company management in the annual planning of its benefit program (s); PTO, insurances, analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses, using computer program. Establish the company's goals and objectives.
- Analyze the profitability of future ventures with full presentation of cost vs. profit and return on investment ratio.
- Documents revenues and expenditures expected and submit at each management meeting as requested or need to call attention to.
- Provides reports to company management with breakout information as asked for, for the purpose of analysis of effectiveness of investment.
- Recruit, train, and schedule new employees directly assigned to your supervision within the fiscal department.
- Advises company management on matters, such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Research and ensure that supplies of any nature are at the best cost possible. Interprets budgets to company management. May assist in financial analysis of projects to develop strategic direction.
- Ensure all company activities adhere to legal guidelines and policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
- 3 years non-profit accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting functions, wage and hour laws, and payroll processing.
- Comprehensive computer skills
- Outstanding leadership abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations.
- Demonstrable analytical thinking & business insight.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
