Job Summary: Oversee day to day operations in either Extrusion, Inside Liner, Litho or Neck-Down. Provide ongoing support through assisting in troubleshooting, regular maintenance and production. Responsible for overseeing containers made are in compliance with internal and external specifications and Quality Assurance Procedures. Job Duties: Provide on-shift technical support for assigned process area (Extrusion, Liner, Litho, Neck-Down). Lead by example by following all established safety and quality standards and communicating any exceptions observed. Support problem solving efforts by providing technical input on root cause of quality and production problems. Support training and development of operators. Communicate standard work, conduct training for department standard operating procedures, document positive and negative performance, and relay development needs to management team. Ensure operator compliance to daily maintenance activities. Support changeovers by monitoring operator compliance to standard work, evaluating condition of tooling, and ensuring all tooling is returned to tool rooms in acceptable condition. Support quarterly and annual TPMs. Ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and verify maintenance work orders are submitted to track repairs as needed. Authority to stop and/or modify work processes due to non-conformance of containers and/or unsafe working conditions. Report all potential food safety concerns to the quality assurance manager. Various other job duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 years of extensive technical experience in manufacturing environment. Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal techniques. Possess a positive attitude and great motivational skills. Must be detail oriented and organized. Expert mechanical aptitude. Work Environment: This role is in a manufacturing environment and the technical specialist will be exposed to moving mechanical parts that produce noise. This position will
