The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Vehicle Operations facility in York is our final assembly plant. Employees at York also perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, polishing and painting and produce a wide range of current and replacement parts for all models. Join our team as a Sr Professional Supply Management - Hybrid.

Job Summary

Join our team as a Senior Professional Supply Management supporting MRO and manufacturing related Indirect Procurement spend categories at the Harley-Davidson Vehicle Operations facility in York, PA. This position supports all aspects of indirect MRO supply management for the facility including the development and execution of category plans, contracting and sourcing strategies, spend analytics, project pipelines, cost savings and resource planning activities. This is a Hybrid role at our York facility.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of MRO & indirect supply management for the designated site. Provide oversight and direction to on-site MRO integrated suppliers and act as an escalation point for critical issues. Collaborate with MRO leads across all manufacturing sites to implement MRO strategies & initiatives. Drive results with a moderate level of guidance and direction. Communicates and collaborates effectively with local leadership and stakeholders. Negotiate complex professional services agreements and statements of work. Manage performance of strategic suppliers with business stakeholders (MRO, 3PL, etc.) Engage and collaborate with internal Legal, Risk and Security departments to ensure contract agreement compliance pertaining to legal implications; terms and conditions required to protect the company. Develop and execute cost savings strategies to support company goals and commitments. Deliver value to the organization through developing RFx documents, evaluating supplier proposals (scope, cost, timing, resource modeling, risk, etc.), supplier recommendation and qualification.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred in supply chain, marketing, business administration, or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated performance in technical competencies of Indirect Procurement and contract management with an emphasis in MRO/Manufacturing. Excellent prioritization and project management skills. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Demonstrated ability to work effectively within and / or lead a group or team providing guidance to members Build and maintain strong relationships based on trust, credibility, clear expectations, and open communication. Strong negotiation skills necessary to obtain appropriate cost, quality, and timing positions with suppliers. Professional, clear, and effective communication to a variety of stakeholders via various communication mediums (written and/or verbal) Position will require up to 5-10% travel for supplier visits, conferences etc.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
