Production Control Clerk - $24 an hour

Our client, one of the largest manufacturers of energy-related equipment for government and commercial customers, is looking for a Production Control Clerk in York, PA. They are a major domestic supplier to the Commercial Nuclear Industry, Department of Energy and Defense, as well as NASA, Naval shipyards, and other industrial and government customers.

What will you be doing?

• Control the receipt, duplication, and filing of shop travelers, drawings, procedures, etc. which the Production Control Department disseminates to the Manufacturing Departments.

• Maintain accountability of all issued manufacturing procedures and documents.

• Issue and recall manufacturing procedures, drawings, and routings throughout the shop.

• Coordinate usage of shared computer programs.

• Organize timely reproduction of needed documents to support production control meetings.

• Purge document files and archive materials as required by procedures during order close outs.

• Provide additional administrative support to Production Control function, as needed.

What do you bring?

• Positive, can-do attitude

• High School Diploma

• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.A general knowledge of ERP systems desirable.

• Familiarity with filing systems, duplicating equipment, computer programs, and clerical practices is required.

• Excellent computer skills required.

• Six months to one year of general administrative work experience.
