JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State York is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Men's Soccer Coach to join our athletic department. The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the men's soccer program, including but not limited to, coaching, recruiting, and program development. This position requires a commitment to excellence, fostering a positive team environment, and enhancing the student-athlete experience.

Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting all practice sessions. Provide coaching and instruction to student-athletes to develop their skills and understanding of the game. Help in the development and implementation of game strategies. Recruit and retain quality student-athletes that meet the academic standards of Penn State York. Ensure the health and safety of student-athletes during practices, games, and other team activities. Foster a positive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and dedication. Comply with all Penn State York, PSUAC, and USCAA policies and regulations.

Qualifications: Previous coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level preferred. Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, rules, and strategies. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse group of student-athletes, coaches, and staff. Commitment to the academic and athletic success of student-athlete

This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
