DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Nature & Scope: A Maintenance Tech is responsible to ensure all equipment is working and that routine maintenance is done.The Maintenance Tech is to have a strong mechanical ability and complete understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Specific Job Responsibilities & Duties:  * Detect malfunctions through observation  * Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality  * Repair broken or faulty machine parts  * Perform emergency repairs  * Choose appropriate materials based on mechanical needs  * Align and calibrate machine parts  * Follow safety rules and regulations  * Maintain a safe and clean work environment  * Observing mechanical devices in operation to locate the sources of problems and ensure the proper functioning of the machines

Experience:  * High School Diploma/GED   * Previous experience as a maintenance tech or similar role  * Completion of Technical/Vocational training  * Great understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics  * Ability to read and/or interpret machinal, pneumatic and hydraulic blueprints or schematics  * Familiarity using various power and hand tools, such as hosts and grinders  * Functional knowledge of mechanical components  * Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads  * Problem solving and organizational skills  * Basic understanding of electrical and control wiring  * Reads and follows manuals, blue prints, and other written instructions
