Job Title: Industrial Electrician Foreman

Location: Shop - York, PA

Schedule: Mon-Fri | 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $30-37/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician Foreman to oversee and participate in the installation of electrical systems in industrial construction settings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with installing galvanized rigid conduit, motor control installations, and AIA (aluminum interlocked armor) tech cabling. Welding experience is preferred (MIG and STICK). Must be willing to travel to project sites in surrounding states. Overnight travel is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and helpers in the installation and repair of electrical systems.

  • Inspect and approve all electrical installations to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Create job schedules and coordinate various phases of construction to prevent delays.

  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure all safety protocols are adhered to.

  • Communicate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project specifications and expectations are met.

  • Train and mentor junior electricians, providing guidance and advice on electrical installation practices.

  • Provide status and progress reports to management.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and associated work order information.

  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Essential Skills

  • At least 5 years of proven experience as an Industrial Electrician Foreman.

  • Extensive experience with rigid conduit, rigid control, and motor control.

  • Familiarity with AIA tech cabling.

  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical orders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
