Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician with experience in oil systems, refrigeration, and commercial refrigeration to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in various environments and weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including oil-fired systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure systems are functioning efficiently.
Replace and repair worn or defective parts in HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Provide excellent customer service, including explaining issues and solutions to clients.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Work collaboratively with other team members and contractors.
Handle emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Essential Skills
Proven work experience as an HVAC Technician with oil experience, refrigeration, and commercial refrigeration.
Familiarity with HVAC blueprints and schematics.
Strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration system operations and mechanics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
