Responsibilities

• Organize team and delegate tasks appropriately to meet deadlines.
• Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks appropriately to meet deadlines.
• Have knowledge of and be able to work proficiently in all positions within the department.
• Independently assist as needed in all areas and positions within the department.
• Support a team-oriented environment within the department and with all other Distribution Center Associates.
• Conduct start up meetings as needed.
• Assist in training new hires.
• Provide direction to the department in the absence of the Supervisor.
• Ensure department is maintained in a clean and orderly manager.
• Additional responsibilities to be determined as business needs arise.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Possess the ability to work effectively in a professional work environment.
• The ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Efficient planning, prioritization and implementation of detailed instructions.
• The ability to learn and communicate new information and processes to all associates within company standards.
• Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (until work is done), including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Duties may frequently involve the use of ladders and stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend and twist frequently.
• Ability to grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently.
• Ability to squat, kneel, balance, and climb occasionally.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures.
