DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will help maintain Delaware Canal State Park grounds and facilities. This will include various tasks like cleaning road culverts, mowing grass, tree planting, and custodial work. Additionally, you will conduct minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on park vehicles. Operating and maintaining various equipment, such as mowers and weed eaters, will be among your assigned tasks. Lastly, you will assist park visitors and disperse information in a friendly, helpful manner.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Seasonal Full-time employment without benefits. The season runs from approximately March through November at which time the employee is placed on leave without pay. Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week This position may require overtime and travel. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
