We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at a leading packaging company in Riverhead, NY. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance team and ensure that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are running smoothly and efficiently to support production. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both technical expertise and supervisory skills.

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging environment

• Proven leadership experience in a supervisory role

• knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair is a plus

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work under pressure

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring proper training and adherence to safety protocols

• Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for production machinery and packaging equipment

• Manage equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage spare parts inventory

• Collaborate with production and management teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency

• Identify and implement improvements to reduce costs and increase equipment reliability
