  Job Summary

• The Therapy Technician is accountable for preparing patients for treatment and maintains orderliness of department and therapy gym under the direction of the physical and occupational therapist.

• Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.

• Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives.

  Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

• Six months previous work experience in a health care field preferred.

  Licensure/Certification/Registration

• BLS Certification required.

  Work Schedule

• Weekdays, 8:00am-5:00pm, every fifth weekend; PRN (as needed)

  Pay

  The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
