Join our team as a Human Resource Training Specialist. This position maintains an employee training and development program. Analyzes organizational training needs and develops new trainings. Facilitates training opportunities. Documents and reports completion of annual mandatory trainings.

With 40+ clinics across Washington and Oregon, we offer a wide range of services such as medical, dental, pharmacy, orthodontia, nutritional counseling, autism screening, and behavioral health. Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.

As a Human Resource Training Specialist, some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Coordinates and trains orientation, supervisor, interpreter and other organizational training programs.
  • Analyzes training and development needs.
  • Ensures training programs meet accreditation and regulatory standards such as The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and state and federal regulations.
  • Plans, organizes, and conducts training programs, seminars, and conferences.
  • Develops, designs, and implements training and instructional materials in conjunction with subject matter experts to assure accuracy and relevance.
  • Develops informational modules, videos, workshops, and individual training sessions.
  • Evaluates the benefits of outside trainers and determines when to outsource training programs.
  • Provides consultation for job-specific trainings.
  • Plans and organizes annual mandatory trainings.
  • Documents and reports employee training status to management.
  • Supports managers and supervisors with annual employee training completion strategies.
  • Maintains a training aid library and a system to select, acquire and distribute materials.
  • Implements a training calendar to communicate offered trainings within the organization.
  • Recommends the purchase of training related materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Champions for a continuing education culture within the organization.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources (HR), Business, or Organizational Development is preferred.

Experience: Three years' experience in training, facilitation, or teaching teenagers or adults. One year supervisory experience in a classroom setting or educational program preferred.
