    SUMMARY OF DUTIES

    Complete painting of entire motor truck, along with the preparation of the surfaces to be painted. Must be able to mix and match paint color. Must be able to preform bodywork while there is not any paintwork.

    ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

  • Uses all tools of the trade, shop machines, power tools, and welders. Able to maintain these along with his personal tools.

  • Reads and understands estimates of repairs and technical publications, including service manuals and service bulletins and is able to use information contained in them to do their own work and to instruct other in the performance of theirs.

  • Must be able to determine usability of all components parts and must be able to list and order all needed parts.

  • Must be able to write a good description of all work preformed on each individual repair.

  • Must be able to use or learn to use the computer to punch on and off repair orders.

  • Perform repairs in an accepted time standard.

  • Ability to perform all tasks in a safe manner.

  • Ability to use and train helpers in a productive manner.

  • Ability to follow Bruckner policy and procedures implied and expressed.

  • Work with a minimum of supervision.

    MARGINAL TASKS

    Must be willing to do other miscellaneous functions as required: clean up, steam clean, salvage yard, etc. as related to business.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    High school or equivalent. Must be willing to take continuing education courses as deemed necessary. Must be able to speak English for this job and safety reasons.

    WORK EXPEREINCE

    Three years minimum experience at the wreck repair trade.
