Sourcing and Procurement Specialist

SFS Group USA, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sourcing and Procurement Specialist for our Wyomissing, PA corporate office who can procure commodities domestically and internationally to achieve company objectives & demand requirements from manufacturing/engineering/ planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management to execute procurement strategies to support the key objectives & Initiatives of the overall business

  • Communicates effectively with suppliers on all aspects of pricing, delivery and specification/quality requirements

  • Negotiate pricing, cost savings, agreements, and delivery requirements

  • Proactively performs research with market trends, raw materials pricing and availability

  • Create innovative solutions to complex challenges using data analytics

  • Supports and collaborates with our procurement office in Taiwan to procure commodities, reschedule products, locate sources of supply

  • Perform supplier audits and surveys

  • Supports manufacturing/engineering & sales in sourcing products for product development, customer requirements & sales initiatives

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory levels are sustained at the proper levels

  • Promptly respond to vendor complaints and support quality team on resolution

  • Other duties as assigned

    The Ideal Candidate

  • 2-4 + years of experience sourcing commodities from Asia required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, supply chain or business is ideal

  • Understanding of government regulations (US & abroad)/tariffs and monitors foreign exchange rates.

  • Proven track record of successful negotiation

  • General understanding of product specifications

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • SAP knowledge a plus

  • Ability to communicate with all levels inside and outside the organization. Must be able to successfully interact with all internal departments to meet their needs.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes
