POSITION SUMMARY The Pump Panel Mechanical Designer will utilize CAD and SolidWorks software to aid in the design, development, and sustainment of municipal fire apparatus pump panels. They will closely coordinate with purchasing, production leadership, engineering, and post sales to ensure vehicles are built to meet customer and industry requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS All employees are required to support Rosenbauer s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. Designs pump panels on computer using solid works program. Read and interpret specifications book to create panel. Physically takes measurements of trucks to ensure the panel with be workable. Send completed works to metal fabrication to be created. Create models as needed to have in inventory for later use. Works with Project Managers when issues arise for customer approval. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
