Description

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. The role involves managing various aspects of our financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and potentially assisting with payroll. The position also offers the possibility of progressing to a Credit Manager role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable operations

• Assist with payroll processes when necessary

• Maintain and update customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications with meticulous attention to detail

• Use software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate records

• Adapt to a variety of tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

• Assist in other areas as required, showcasing a collaborative approach to work

• Take on increasing responsibilities over time, demonstrating a capacity for growth and advancement within the company.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing procedures

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle software

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software

• Familiarity with SAP software

• Must have a strong attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Understanding of the wholesale distribution industry would be advantageous.
