Ameresco Inc Energy Engineer in Worthington, Ohio

Energy Engineer, Ameresco, Inc (Worthington, OH):  The Energy Engineer will perform comprehensive energy audits for commercial, institutional, and government facilities. Will identify, develop and design cost savings opportunities and capital upgrades relating to lighting, mechanical and electrical systems, energy management systems, and the building envelope. Will perform preliminary design of improvements and develop accurate scopes of work that identify all elements that have impact on costs to obtain accurate subcontractor pricing. Will prepare budgetary cost estimates and prepare technical reports. Will assist in all stages of the project development process. Will design and size mechanical systems for projects undertaken. Will design and draft extensive MEP systems on AutoCAD. Will perform Energy Modeling and Simulation. Will perform Monitoring & Verification (M&V) and Impact Evaluation. Will develop Renewable Energy Technologies. Will perform Controls Design Development and Implementation pathways. Will perform Regression Modeling and Analysis. As is customary for the occupation, travel to client sites is required. Telecommuting from within the U.S. is allowed. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. Special Requirements: Must have any level of demonstrated knowledge of: 1) AutoCAD, REVIT MEP, COMCHECK, CAPS, eQuest, Carrier HAP; 2) controls design; and 3) Energy Auditing.
