Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

 

  • The candidate must function well and be able to collaborate in a fast-paced, integrated, multidisciplinary team environment in a laboratory-based role.
  • Perform analytical assays on various vaccine process intermediates, products and related experimental samples utilizing one or more of the following techniques:
    • Separation-based assays (HPLC, UPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE)
    • Plate based characterization (ELISA, enzymatic activity)
    • Absorbance (UV-vis) and fluorescence protein quantification
  • Laboratory responsibilities include preparation of buffers and testing reagents.
  • Testing documented in electronic laboratory notebooks and corresponding data review.
  • Maintain records and test results following good manufacturing practices (GMP).

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

 

  • General laboratory skills including experience with pipettes, general analytical equipment, and other instrumentation.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new techniques and perform multiple tasks simultaneously while keeping accurate records, following standardized procedures, and comply with company policies (GMP knowledge a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or other related degree concentration with a minimum of 1 -2 years relevant experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
