This Executive Director position serves as a consultant to both management and employees on clinical and nursing related issues. The successful Executive Director acts as a resource and advisor to employees and managers. The role listens, advises, and reports on operationally focused issues to the Area Vice President of Operations. Communicating needs proactively to the Operations Team, the Executive Director works with the Clinical Leadership Team to develop and champion integrated solutions. The Executive Director maintains an effective level of business literacy and knowledge about Aveanna’s culture and its competition.

Essential Functions:

  • Team Management

  • Determine staffing needs

  • Hiring

  • Performance management – Conduct/Oversee the processes:

  • Train

  • Coach

  • Evaluate

  • Monitor progress

  • Develop

  • Conflict resolution

  • Terminations

  • Communicate job expectations

  • Set and model quality and customer service standards

  • Communication of and compliance with Aveanna’s Code of Conduct and Policies and Procedures

Client Relations:

  • Incident Management/Issue Resolution

  • Service Failures

  • Client/Family Complaints

Business Operations:

Plan and implement branch growth strategies

  • Thorough review of financial statements, activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement

  • Consistently meet reporting deadlines

  • Branch compliance with federal and state regulations

  • Competencies

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities over the team.
