Robert Half Commercial Loan Administrator in Worcester, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Commercial Loan Administrator in our Worcester, Massachusetts location. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, such as loan administration, customer communication, and management of daily transactions for our commercial customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain and manage customer credit records.

• Act as a point of contact for commercial customers, answering inquiries, and addressing loan status issues.

• Prepare legal documents and secure interests for commercial loan closings in accordance with state laws and bank policy.

• Manage loans in the application or renewal process, ensuring compliance with government regulations, ordering necessary reports, and coordinating with closing attorneys.

• Oversee the Commercial Pipeline Report and Commercial Construction Loan Portfolio Status Report, collaborating with lending officers to ensure accuracy.

• Review new loan/maintenance reports to ensure compliance with Loan Policy, Regulatory Requirements, and the Bank’s Board of Trustee’s approval.

• Conduct post-approval processing and funding of loan commitments, resolving any closing issues with the assistance of the Loan Officer.

• Monitor daily activity and balance requirements of commercial accounts.

• Enter commercial loans into the commercial loan operating system (Abrigo & LaserPro).

• Prepare loan packages for approval, maintaining a log of commercial applications/Term Letters.

• Handle departmental monthly HMDA-LAR reporting.

• Process construction loan advances through Built System, and prepare revolving line of credit advances for processing.

• Review and maintain all new commercial loans and commercial real estate loans for the required documentation, collateral, and insurance. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Loan Administrator or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in auditing, with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance.

• Demonstrated experience in managing closing processes, ensuring all transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Extensive knowledge of commercial lending practices and regulations.

• Experience in drafting and interpreting commercial agreements.

• Familiarity with commercial banking procedures and principles.

• Proficiency in using Encompass software or similar loan processing tools.

• Ability to generate insights from complex financial data to inform strategic decisions.
