Position Summary
The Lead Director – Security Solutions Architect is a technical expert with deep knowledge of Infrastructure and Cybersecurity technology. Their primary objective is to work directly with development, engineering, and infrastructure teams to get an in-depth understanding of the different technology stacks across the CVS lines of business. This knowledge will be leveraged as part of the BISO organization to drive business technology requirements for critical security initiatives, perform technical analysis to determine the business impact of technical changes, and provide solution and technology advisement to the BISO organization.
Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted technology advisor with the technology leadership team for critical security initiatives.
Perform technical impact analysis on critical security and/or technology initiatives, reviewing results and recommendations with business leadership and key technology stakeholders.
Act as a key problem-solving resource for the VP, helping to address complex issues and challenges within the organization.
Support the BISO organization with strategic business planning, including technical analysis, communications, and business risk analysis.
Gather, analyze, and present data to support decision-making processes, identify trends with quantitative and qualitative insights and recommendations, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
Develop and disseminate clear and effective communication materials, including presentations, reports, and memos for both internal and external stakeholders.
Lead and/or advise on critical security initiatives, including BISO special projects (as needed).
Advise, mentor, and support the BISO analytics team with technical expertise.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IT with an emphasis around Security or Network Engineering
5+ years of experience in Enterprise Technology Architecture (Database, End User Devices, Networking, Servers).
5+ years of experience Cloud Architecture to include AWS, Azure, and GCP.
5+ years of experience in technical cybersecurity domains (Application Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security).
3+ years of hands-on experience in development lifecycles and application architectures.
3+ years of experience driving large scale technology initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrable experience with understanding business focus and processes and ability to inject cybersecurity into the business through teamwork and influence.
Demonstrable experience with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and varying personalities and adapt management style to effectively reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
