Robert Half Tax Preparer in Woodland Hills, California

Description We are in search of a Tax Preparer to join our team located in Woodland Hills, California. The incumbent will be responsible for a variety of tax preparation tasks across different accounting software systems. This role is part of our commitment to providing top-notch financial services to our clients, focusing on the accurate processing of tax-related data.

Responsibilities:

• Use Lacerte Tax Software and other Accounting Software Systems to prepare and file tax returns accurately.

• Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all tax preparation processes.

• Handle client inquiries related to tax preparation, providing comprehensive and accurate responses.

• Conduct a thorough review of financial documents provided by clients to ensure accuracy in tax preparation.

• Utilize strong accounting skills to perform various accounting functions related to tax preparation.

• Implement effective strategies for tax preparation to maximize client satisfaction.

• Ensure all client data is securely stored and confidentiality is maintained at all times.

• Collaborate with the team to enhance the efficiency of tax preparation processes.

• Conduct regular checks to ensure the accuracy of all tax preparation tasks.

• Handle any additional tasks related to tax preparation as assigned by the management. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for accurate and efficient work.

• Demonstrated understanding of basic and advanced Accounting Functions, critical for managing financial records.

• Proficient use of Lacerte Tax Software for creating and filing tax returns.

• Prior experience in Tax Preparation, including the ability to accurately prepare and file various types of tax forms.

• Hold a valid Tax Preparer certificate, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in the preparation and filing of tax documents.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with clients.

• Must have strong analytical skills for interpreting tax laws and regulations.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during peak tax season.

• Must adhere to all ethical standards of the accounting profession.
