Responsibilities

The Nursing Manager in the Family Birth Center is responsible for managing the resources and daily activities of the department while ensuring environmental factors support high standards of patient care. Other responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the training and development of new and existing staff members

• Creating and maintaining an environment that is conducive to learning transfer

• Coordinating the activities of the unit for each shift and directing, organizing, and assigning work to the nursing staff

• Will provide patient care as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and one (1) year of leadership experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience.

• California RN license

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

• Completion of Advanced Fetal Monitoring or maintain the NCC EFM certification

• STABLE certification

Pay Range

$69.04 - $89.19 /hour
