Job Title: Application Developer

Location: Hybrid in Woodland, CA ( 3 days onsite)

Pay Range: $58.00 on up

What’s the Job?

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated contractor to join our team. Will be responsible for supporting various Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) products, developing and maintaining SharePoint sites, creating Power Apps solutions, and Business Intelligence (BI) development and reporting, with a strong emphasis on Power BI. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • COTS Product Support: Provide support for various COTS products. This includes installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance.

  • SharePoint Online Development and Administration: Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites and applications. Manage SharePoint permissions, configurations, and customizations. Ensure high availability and security of SharePoint environments.

  • Power Apps Development: Develop custom Power Apps solutions to streamline and automate business processes. Design workflows and ensure successful implementation and user adoption.

  • Business Intelligence Development and Reporting: Design and develop BI solutions, including dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI. Integrate Power BI with various data sources, ensure data accuracy, and optimize performance.

Ideal Candidate will possess the following technical skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in supporting COTS products.

  • Strong experience with SharePoint development and administration.

  • Expertise in Power Apps development.

  • Solid understanding of Business Intelligence tools and techniques, particularly Power BI.

  • Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Will also collaborate with internal client staff, create and maintain documentation related to enhancements, scripts, configurations, reports, and other changes to the systems. May be required to train IT and other staff in use and maintenance of the systems.

  • This position is Hybrid, candidate would work 3 days per week in offices in Woodland, CA and up to 2 days per week remotely.

  • Possess a deep understanding of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle Database Systems to effectively leverage these technologies.

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in technology.

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team and other stakeholders.

  • 3-5 years of experience configuring, installing, upgrading, maintaining, diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving problems relating to technology systems.

  • Initial Interviews will be conducted online with possible subsequent interviews in person.

  • Must be eligible to work directly as a W2.
