The Role:

The Custodial Technician is responsible for supporting area supervisors and equipment operators by maintaining a clean, organized, and attractive facility that meets food-grade guidelines. This role requires planning, sound judgment, and strong communication skills to achieve company sanitation program compliance. Attention to detail, follow-through, and pride in workmanship are essential attributes for success in this position.

What You'll Do:

  • Consistently strive to maintain a clean, attractive, and organized facility that conforms to food-grade guidelines.

  • Monitor the facility’s surroundings, including parking areas, loading docks, walkways, and grounds, for necessary repairs and maintenance.

  • Request and re-stock supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and facility maintenance tasks.

  • Remove pallets, cardboard, and packaging materials from the shop floor and production areas to maintain a neat and orderly work environment.

  • Safely operate facility equipment in accordance with company guidelines.

  • Utilize various shop tools and power tools as needed.

  • Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks on facility equipment.

  • Clean pallet racking, floors, equipment, breakrooms, kitchens, restrooms, and offices in both facilities.

  • Carry out drywall, paint-related, flooring and other facility related repairs as required.

  • Support Supervisory staff by ensuring tasks are completed on time and with a high level of accuracy.

  • Assist production staff to ensure production equipment and work areas meet sanitation requirements for a food grade facility.

  • Support maintenance staff in preparation of equipment undergoing preventative maintenance and repairs.

  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety Standards, and related operational procedures.

  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

    What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Reliable transportation to Woodinville, WA

  • Positive attitude

    Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Warehouse environment

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, reach, twist, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time

  • Weekends/Overtime when needed

    Additional Information:

    Salary: $18-$21 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.
