Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations.

  • Prepares deliveries for daily shipments.

  • Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain customer site access badges.

  • Prepares deliveries for daily shipments.

  • Loads material on truck and secures cargo during transit.

  • Drives truck to destination. Prepares receipts for loads picked up.

  • Collects payment for good delivered and for delivery charges.

  • Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.

  • Maintain telephone and radio contact with supervisor to received delivery instructions.

  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Essential that applicant possess a valid CDL Class A driver’s license

  • Required to pass a DOT drug test and physical

  • Must possess some knowledge of assigned area

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn mainframe program (Metalware)
