Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist/Collections in Woodinville, Washington

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist/Collections in the Wholesale Distribution - Non-Durable industry, located in Woodinville, Washington, United States. As part of our team, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to accounts receivable and collections.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate records of customer credit information.

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate actions when necessary.

• Resolving customer inquiries related to their accounts.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various tasks such as data entry and analysis.

• Handling collections tasks, including contacting customers and arranging payment plans.

• Regularly updating customer accounts based on payments received or adjustments made.

• Collaborating with the sales and customer service departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

• Ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded in accordance with company policies.

• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the company's data privacy rules. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of wholesale distribution industry is a plus

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial regulations

• Strong customer service skills to resolve payment disputes

• Ability to understand and apply accounting principles

• Experience with financial software systems is preferred

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is desirable

• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills in financial analysis and accounting

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
