Regions Hospital Behavioral Health Coordinator in Woodbury, Minnesota

Regions Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Coordinator to join our team in providing support services within our new and growing outpatient substance use disorder program. This program is co-located within one of our established mental health clinics with access to direct referrals and consults. The Behavioral Health Coordinator will verify patient registration and insurance types, provide customers with appointment specific paperwork, schedule a variety of patient appointments, answer the phones promptly and document the call and route the information to the appropriate individual, enter patient refill requests in EPIC and send them to the nursing team, call patients to follow up on appointments, prepare patient documents and send documents to Health Information Management, make reminder phone call appointments for new patient appointments and check, respond and distribute department email, faxes and mail. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:00pm Location: Woodbury, MN Required Qualifications: *High school diploma or equivalent *Minimum two (2) years of experience in a position interacting with the public using telephones and computers Benefits: Regions Hospital offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K with match, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
