St. Michael’s Inc. is an employee-owned services company with offices in Woodbridge, VA, and Tampa, FL.  St. Michael’s is focused on assisting government agencies in becoming more successful by providing them quality contract support to help them meet or exceed their goals. In this internship role you will work closely with one or more mentors on projects involving various government clients. You will also have opportunities to network with other interns and departments within the company to learn about other exciting career possibilities with St. Michael’s.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael’s is hiring to fill a Client Experience Internship position to support the Client Experience and Growth Team. During this twelve-week role, you will gain knowledge in a variety of areas on what it takes to win, maintain, and delight clients as a government contractor that supports the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and the Intelligence Community. Your attention to detail will be vital as you review details for accurate and favorable business decisions. LOCATION

Woodbridge, VA – On-site – This is a 12-week internship with the possibility to extend.

(Expected date range: September 20 to December 20)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Pursuing a BS in Business, History, Finance, Accounting, Government, Project Management or related major interested in putting their skills to work as a Government Contracts Intern.

  • Outstanding analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

  • Proficient with MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Time management, organization, and prioritization skills.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and track performance metrics.

  • Assist with identifying, capturing, and winning growth opportunities with current clients.

  • Create standardized project management templates to be used across multiple contracts.

  • Create account plans to support current and proposed clients.

  • Assist VP of Client Experience and Account Managers prepare training material as needed.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

    Compensation: $14 - $15 per hour
