T & C Schlenner LLC Agricultural Equipment Operator in Wood Lake, Minnesota

Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Wood Lake, MN. From: 03/15/2025 to 12/15/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 07/31/2025 JOB DUTIES: We need seasonal employees to assist with our our corn and soybean farming operation. We are looking for a responsible, clean, non-smoker that has extensive experience driving a 13-speed semi and large tractor for tillage. Mechanical ability and willingness to clean and detail equipment inside and out would also be required. Routine maintenance and repairs on equipment will be required. We have an extensive variety in our daily job description which helps immensely with much less boredom as every day is a little different. We operate Peterbilt trucks and require truck driving experience. We pride ourselves in a safe, well maintained and excessively clean operation. I will never require anyone to do a job I will not do myself. We have a large heated and well-lit shop where we do most maintenance and repair. We require that employees show up on time, be friendly and engaged. Must have experienced in safely driving semi pulling 48' trailer, operating large tractor pulling 50' field cultivator, operating skid steer loader. Assist with other farm duties as needed. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial or heavy truck driving license is required. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience in Ag production and operation of equipment listed; basic math skills; mechanical ability; strong ability to speak, read and write English; valid Driver's License (Class D); no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
