Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Wood Dale, Illinois

Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of facility and production equipment.

Hard Skills

  • Corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems & equipment

  • Preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities

  • Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments

  • Utilizing gages and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions

  • Using hand and power tools to disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test components and machinery

  • Testing equipment after service and/or repair

  • Maintaining and completing maintenance and repair record updates

  • Updating spare parts records

  • Equipment, Machinery, or Larger Product Assembly

  • Mechanical Machine Assembly

  • Blueprint Reading (Dimensions, Material Type, Symbols)
