American Tower Account Project Manager, Leasing Operations in Woburn, Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking an Account Project Manager to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division's Leasing Operations organization. The organization focuses on all leasing aspects of American Tower’s U.S. assets. The organization is comprised of account specific teams that manage the full life cycle of customers’ applications. Day to day you will oversee, for an assigned account, the end-to-end leasing process including application management, lease execution, regulatory and legal compliance, purchase order management, forecast revenue management, and completion of required approvals and deliverables. As an Account Project Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to manage applications through the collocation process, identifying and resolving all project delays while ensuring project timelines are met and within budget.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree with a preferred concentration in Business, Communications, Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent work experience required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience required.

  • Proven project management skills with a disciplined approach to forecast management.

  • Ability to multitask and resolve complex project delays.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Manage the end-to-end leasing process, from application to close out, for assigned customers within a designated region, which will include:

  • Initiating and defining projects' objectives and scopes;

  • Allocating appropriate resources;

  • Establishing project timelines and communication plans which include deliverables, milestones, and required tasks;

  • Reviewing status reports and modifying schedules and plans as required to meet customers' expectations; and

  • Monitoring progress against plans.

  • Be accountable for all deployment activities including leasing, architectural/engineering services, project management, and closeout packages for assigned customers.

  • Serve as the internal leasing point of contact at the market level for customer escalations and actively participate in customer calls as required, providing up-to-date and accurate information on customer priorities, project status, forecasts, aging, and issue resolution.

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of assigned customers' expectations to include priorities, coverage objectives, desired timelines, customer equipment, system management, processes, and project volume at the market level.

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of contracts to include services scope, pricing, service level commitments, master lease agreement fees, and bucket rights.

  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams and hold them accountable for forecasts and deliverables needed to meet and exceed customers' expectations.

  • Provide high-touch customer service throughout all stages of the leasing process.

  • Create, update, and manage individual projects to ensure reported deliverable forecasts are met.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships; maintain consistent communications and manage customers' interactions and expectations through project milestone consistency.

  • Provide leadership to customers and cross-functional teams throughout projects' life cycles

  • Proactively identify all lease contingencies and collaborate cross-functionally to develop efficient action plans to address them. Set proper forecasts with clients and manage cross-functional teams' activities to ensure timely resolutions.

  • Other duties as assigned.
