Assistant Teacher Methow Valley Head Start

About the position: Provides a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environment where children (ages 3-5) have the opportunity to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills in a classroom environment. This position will also travel to homes of enrolled families on a monthly basis to provide additional educational services and support to families.
Education and Experience:
- Initial and General ECE certificate or enrolled in the program to complete within 24 months of hire
- Valid WA State Driver's License
- Bilingual/Spanish, preferred
Details:
- 40 hours per week for 41 weeks per year (one week off at spring break and two at winter break, and some weeks in the summer)
- Wage $18.50 per hour for qualified applicant
