ManpowerGroup Manufacturing Shift Supervisor in Winston Salem, North Carolina

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to join their team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be part of the Production Supervision department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shift Supervisor

Location: Winston Salem, NC

Pay Range: $80,000.00 (built in OT brings is to $85-$95k)

Shift: 4/3

What's the Job?

  • Supervise and lead a team of up to 15 employees, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and plant policies.

  • Train new employees and develop expertise in machine operations across various production areas.

  • Manage shift scheduling and provide daily leadership through effective communication and feedback.

  • Support cross-training initiatives and foster a collaborative team environment.

  • Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment to ensure product quality and compliance.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's or Technical degree is a plus.

  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience is required, with textile or composite manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Ability to operate a CNC lathe and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Forklift operator license and hazardous material handling certification are required.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a Secret Level Security Clearance.
