JOB SUMMARY
Lead and coordinate financial analysis and performance reporting necessary to accomplish strategic execution of Truist Financial Corporation's (and subsidiaries') profit planning or forecasting process and related year-round activities. Promote strong collaboration between the LOB CFO teams, A&FR and FP&A in accomplishment of these efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support and provide leadership for the Income Statement/Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR) workstream in the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) stress test. Key responsibilities related to the stress test include:
A. Establish project plans, communicating expected deliverables and timelines to teammates involved in the income statement stress test;
B. Work with LOB CFO teams and other subject matter experts to ensure stress test results are reasonably aligned with scenarios and business strategies;
C. Partner with Capital Management teammates to ensure stress testing activities align with organizational standards and regulatory expectations;
D. Compile stress test results presentation for review with subject matter experts and senior leadership;
E. Ensure stress test results are complete and accurate in financial systems used for FR Y-14A regulatory reporting;
F. Partner with Model Risk Oversight and Capital Oversight to ensure the income statement stress test is compliant with model risk policies and other enterprise-wide expectations; and
E. Maintain and update proper controls and documentation covering key processes, estimation methodologies, and reports.
Provide leadership and direction for the Income Statement/Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR) workstream in the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) stress test. Provide leadership within Strategic Finance on organizing and executing the income statement stress testing activities. This includes working with LOB CFO teams, Capital Management and Strategic Finance to develop reasonable forecasts across a range of baseline and stressed economic conditions, understanding the drivers of business results, and reviewing these results to identify areas of improvement. Exhibit sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes. Demonstrate ability to build consensus through communication and presentation of factual and relevant information.
Monitor the performance of stress test models, systems, and processes, recommending opportunities for enhancements and improving the efficiently and accurately of the income statement stress test. Work with the Model Development, Enterprise Technology, Capital Management, and other teammates to develop, test, and implement enhancements. Report progress to senior leadership.
Support Strategic Finance is performing additional analysis to support forecasting, profit plan, and Truist performance reviews. Coordinate Corporate Treasury and LOB CFO teams to perform this analysis. Perform scenario analysis in support of the annual profit plan.
Work closely with Enterprise Technology resources to maintain, coordinate and enhance the stress testing database(s).
Proactively evaluate forecast and stress test processes to identify enhancements to the Corporation's profit planning, forecasting, and stress testing processes for efficiency and accuracy improvements.
Develop and lead training programs for stress testing processes and systems. Develop skills of the stress testing analysts. Participate in cross-training with teammates to develop a broader understanding of the stress testing and strategic finance.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the Corporation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent education and related training
Seven years of experience in financial analysis or corporate budgeting/profit planning/forecasting
Ability to perform financial modeling and analysis related to Truist income statement and balance sheet accounts, lines of business, and Executive Leadership roll-ups
Vision and drive to evaluate processes for efficiency and effectiveness and continuously improve
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office software products
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in finance or business administration
Professional designation such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Finance Risk Manager (FRM)
Financial institution work experience as a team leader or supervisor
Knowledge of financial industry business practices
Financial system experience, such as SAP or Hyperion
Mastery of financial tools, practices, and concepts used by Truist
Experience in CCAR / stress testing
