POSITION SUMMARYThe Test & Control Inspector position is responsible for performing inspections of ground support units at final inspection and prior to shipment. This position reports directly to the Military Production Supervisor and indirectly to the Military Quality Assurance Manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(Other duties may be assigned)• Performs formal and informal audits of all material, processes, products, and systems as needed or required.• Performs final inspection and evaluation of product/units for shipment to our Customers.• ISO Standards Implementation: helps as active team member to secure and maintain a Quality Management System to the standards.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• 5 years of experience in active inspection, preferably final product inspection.• Engineering or technical related experience desired.• Ability to read blueprints.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:• Familiar with basic measuring equipment including testing and record maintenance.• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.• Computer skills: MRP system experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office.• Ability to work in a team or solo environment.• Detail-oriented mindset.EDUCATION:• Associate’s degree preferred with one year of experience, or 5+ years’ experience in inspection and QA related capacities.
