PROJECT MANAGER is responsible for Site Management and oversight of engineering, manufacturing, and installation of curtain wall facades. Duties include: Organizing and enforcing the regimens to be followed by installation crews at the project site to ensure that the project is executed in accordance with the Project Plan. Making sure that the site teams are working in accordance with the agreed program and carrying out their work in accordance with the approved construction delivery schedule and according to the installation drawings. Establishing for the site teams their weekly and monthly construction benchmarks. Monitoring their progress towards meeting those benchmarks at the end of every week and dictating what remedial actions need to be taken in order to bring the activities up to speed with the planned Project timeline. Making sure that Daily Site Record Sheets are duly and daily completed and submitted to him for review and future direction of Site Management scheduling. Advising senior management of all delays, disruptions and other events that may have a temporary or permanent impact on the construction program and/or cost of the project. Certifying that all materials that the procurement and logistics teams are sending are arriving in a timely manner; delivered to site as per the agreed program and sequence. Making sure that the site installation teams are following the scheduled work program and finding solutions to problems that may cause delays. Adjusting site installation activities to remain in sync with present and anticipated abilities of the Manufacturing, Assembly and Logistics Departments to meet their benchmark requirements. Liaising with the Main Contractor and Subcontractors to keep everyone apprised of variations to or disruptions within the Project timeline. Monitoring and checking that all project activities are properly documented, and, ensuring that team members are maintaining an acceptable level of quality control and safety throughout the project life cycle.
