    POSITION SUMMARYThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment, buildings, and property.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(Other duties may be assigned)

  • Perform scheduled inspections and repairs on both machinery and properties.

  • Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc. as necessary/directed.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc. as directed, in accordance with established procedures.

  • Determine necessary work on buildings and equipment including, but not limited to, HVAC Systems, Building and Equipment work.

  • Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.

  • Follow established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service.

  • Maintain general plant and facility standards, ensuring a safe, clean and orderly environment.

  • Assure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.

  • Complete procedures and other documents in accordance with ISO 9001.

  • Other assignments as designated by department supervisor.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc. of up to fifty (50) pounds.

  • Must be able to perform intermediate electrical and plumbing duties.

  • Must be able to constantly walk between buildings within the facility in all types of weather.

  • Must be able to bend, squat, and climb, including using ladders and stairs.

    OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of industrial electrical fixtures

  • Knowledge of electrical wiring similar to the automotive or industrial type.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on company needs.

    EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Pay Rate: $18-$20 /hr depending on Experience
