We are recruiting for a Process Technician for a client in the Winchester, TN area. This client, specializing in wheel covers for the automotive industry, has grown to 1,400 employees supplying 90 million wheel trim units yearly. Scope of duties below: Scope / Areas of Responsibility

· Ensures that health, safety, quality, and environmental policies are complied with.

· Controls and records molding process, process data sheets, control parameters, weight control, cycle time control, and proper material drying process.

· Reports to Molding Process Engineer and Supervisor if cycle time or weight are out of specs.

· Reports if the molding process engineering data sheets are out of specs.

· Issues maintenance work orders for keeping equipment and tools performing properly.

· Responsible for meeting quality and performance standards on each set up.

· Supports weekly startups and shutdowns of the line.

· Maintains molding 5S standards.

· Fills in for die setter if needed.

· Works with shift leader for meeting schedule targets.

· Manages maintenance program for vacuum filters.

· Manages first level maintenance for tools(cleaning and lubricating).

· Updates traceability data

· Provides proper information at shift change to ensure clear communication/direction between shifts.

Advisable training/skills:

· Safety training

· Forklift

· Crane

· Lock out and tag out

· SDS knowledge and training

· Molding Process

Advisable professional experience:

· 2 years of plastic injection molding Process Technician experience is required.

salary: $43,000 - $46,000 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 40lbs

• standing for 7 hours at one time

Skills

• Molding 5S Standards (2 years of experience is preferred)

• Forklift Operation (2 years of experience is preferred)

• Product Inspection

• SDS Knowledge (2 years of experience is preferred)

Qualifications

• Years of experience: 2 years
