The D.A. Collins Family of Companies is looking for a motivated, self-starter to lead in house construction engineering operations and staff for our construction group. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to further their career and help to deliver projects by managing construction engineering activities across various interesting projects and disciplines. The Construction Engineering Manager will interface with our construction teams and third-party engineers, as required, to provide solutions and constructable schemes to the project staff to facilitate implementation. The ideal candidate will have the skillset and determination to execute or grow into this role.

Job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Formwork Design

• Structural Steel Erection Drawings and Calculations

• Precast Erection Drawings and Calculations

• Structural Lifting Drawings and Calculations

• Demolition Drawings and Calculations

• Design of Temporary Structures

• Design of Excavation Protection System

• Crane Lift Planning

• Rigging Design

• Coordination with outside engineering firms on larger deliverables

• Function as Design Build Coordinator on alternative delivery projects

• Applying knowledge to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering

• Experience in structural or construction engineering

• PE license

• Strong work ethic

• Self-Motivated

• Organized

• Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Understanding of design codes and software

• Values teamwork

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen

• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to report to work on time

Base salary range:

Construction Engineer Manager

100,000.00 - 140,000.00

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
