Technical Project Manager (Avionics) Location: Wilsonville, OR Job ID: #69682 Pay Range: $74-85 ph (W2) Duration: 6 mos Vision Systems Engineering – Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading a mechanical engineering team in the analysis and redesign of Head Up Guidance Systems cast aluminum chassis components. The TPM will lead a team of mechanical engineers and associated support staff in the analysis of complex cast aluminum parts in a regulated avionics environment. The TPM is responsible for schedule creation, task assignment, project execution for performance against cost and milestone performance, and reporting of status on all associated tasks. Responsibilities: • Project Engineer position with emphasis on project coordination • Manage program activities for a mechanical engineering sustainment team • Coordinate assignments and activities for technical review of incoming vendor hardware in regulated avionics environment • Create, execute, and track program schedules. • Work with a multidiscipline team to coordinate the engineering teams priorities • Present project status and team progress during leadership reviews Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering is preferred. Equivalent STEM degree will be considered if the candidate has applicable experience. 8+ years of experience with a project management and/or engineering lead background is desired.
