Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant for a client based in Wilsonville, OR. This role primarily revolves around providing support during a financial audit and assisting with close. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be expected to respond to audit requests and act as a key support for the team.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and accurately to audit requests

• Provide necessary support during the financial audit process

• Assist with month-end closing procedures and ensure accurate record-keeping

• Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations

• Handle bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records

• Regularly update and maintain the general ledger

• Prepare and post journal entries as required

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports

• Act as a key support for the team, assisting where necessary.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is crucial

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required

• Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations effectively

• Experience with General Ledger management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Ability to manage Month End Close operations

• Prior experience with Audit processes is required
