Job Title: Solderer Assembler

Job Description

As a Solderer Assembler, you will be required to pass a soldering test during the interview process. This role involves varied work where supervisors may move you around different tasks daily, both within and outside the department. Flexibility is key as you will not remain in one particular position for the entire shift. The work environment includes repetitive standing or sitting all day or a combination of both.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned tasks as directed by a Team Leader.

  • Communicate in English and follow written and/or verbal assembly instructions.

  • Prep and solder small gauge wires, typically handling and positioning wires under a microscope.

  • Acquire basic job skills and learn company policies and procedures.

  • Follow shop floor control and workmanship standards.

  • Function effectively in a team environment.

  • Operate equipment to manufacture products from raw materials into finished goods.

  • Maintain inventory records of raw materials used in manufacturing and keep accurate and up-to-date records and/or data sheets on materials in process.

  • Perform in-process tests to ensure production meets required specifications.

  • Recognize equipment malfunctions and/or product deficiencies and troubleshoot errors to achieve optimum production.

  • Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics.

  • Maintain running accounts of orders received, work completed, and inventory.

  • Match workload, manning, and equipment capacity to existing inventory.

  • Prepare and monitor master schedules by coordinating activities with materials planning, production, and maintenance personnel.

  • Requisition materials after determining delivery dates.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.70
