THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION OFFERING 20 HOURS A WEEK. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE SAGE SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED Seeking to hire a highly motivated individual to join the team. The ideal candidate for this position will be highly flexible, trainable, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and dependable.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 6:30 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Assist in purchasing regularly needed supplies, verifying all purchases made by the purchasing agent and tracking delivery of items.

• 20 HOURS A WEEK

• MUST HAVE SAGE SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

• Working with the purchasing manager to run the purchasing department

• Performing vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reducing operating costs and boosting efficiency

• Maintaining cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities

• Signing and reviewing purchasing agreements with vendors, monitoring their performance and renegotiating contracts

• Using quarterly and annual data to determine purchasing needs and performing inventory management

• Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase records

• Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies

Skills

• Purchasing/Procurement (2 years of experience is required)

• Vendor Management

• Accounting

• Inventory

• SAGE (2 years of experience is required)

• Data Entry (2 years of experience is preferred)
