JOB SUMMARY

Provide functional oversight to mission critical infrastructure systems to ensure 100% uptime at assigned critical locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Research, plan, and implement strategically effective and relevant uptime standards and methods.

  2. Supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and life/safety infrastructure at assigned mission critical locations.

  3. Direct maintenance activities of contract service providers and other support personnel utilizing prescribed job plans that have proper authorization for work.

  4. Schedule equipment testing and preventative maintenance required to maintain systems integrity and high availability.

  5. Monitor, record, analyze, and report on activities, trend results, and recommendations relating to mission critical building monitoring systems.

  6. Maintain a long range plan for capital investments that assure long term reliability of critical assets.

  7. Provide on-call support in the event of any systems disruption and execute on any emergency response plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent education and related training.

  2. Five years related work experience in facilities management or engineering operations for critical environments

  3. Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, processes, and procedures

  4. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant health and safety laws and policies

  5. Working knowledge of information technology infrastructure

  6. Excellent planning and analytical skills

  7. Demonstrate ability to think and act clearly during emergency response situations

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Financial Services Experience

  2. Pertinent Trade Licenses (mechanical, electrical and other building systems)

  3. Experience with Building Automation Systems; IBM Maximo, Energy Management Systems & SCADA systems

  4. Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings

  5. Demonstrated completion of recent and relevant continuing education programs or industry certifications
