Robert Half Litigation Associate in Wilmington, Pennsylvania

Description

We are inviting applications for the position of Associate Attorney - Litigation in our mid-size to large law firm client's office in Wilmington, DE. The selected individual will be immersed in a stimulating work environment where they will handle a wide array of civil cases and play an instrumental role in our litigation practice group. This role involves comprehensive case management, drafting of various legal documents, and client communication.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee case management from initiation to closure in both state and federal courts.

• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive motions.

• Conduct thorough legal analysis, offer case evaluations, and recommend strategies.

• Handle depositions of key fact witnesses including Plaintiffs.

• Communicate regularly with clients, providing case updates and addressing inquiries.

• Collaborate closely with paralegals to ensure efficient case management.

• Utilize Case Management Software to organize and manage client cases.

• Employ Adobe Acrobat for document management and briefing purposes.

• Leverage 3M skills to handle civil litigation and claim administration.

• Handle complaints within the Consumer Electronics industry.

Requirements • Holds a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Admitted to the state bar and in good standing

• Proficient in the use of 3M, Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, Conveyancer, and Document Management

• Demonstrated experience in Briefing, Civil Litigation, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, and Consumer Electronics

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent research and analytical skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information

• Ability to handle high-stress situations and maintain professionalism under pressure

• Solid understanding of legal principles and procedures

• Proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver client-centric solutions

• Demonstrated ability to effectively brief and advise clients on legal matters.
