Description SUMMARY: This position will fulfill the requirements of the ABX Air FSO Security program, assist with Safety Program investigations and support preparations for 3rd party audits to include DoD and IOSA certificate renewal audits. This position also provides targeted operational and technical audits for CVG, ILN and out-based vendors for the Safety Department under the provisions of the IAEP program. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with ABX Air FSO program and complete assigned security checks and audits as required. Perform targeted audits of vendors at ILN, CVG and other out based locations to ensure regulatory rules and company policies and procedures are followed. Assist with Safety Program investigations and attend general Safety and ASAP program meetings. Assist with preparations for and completion of 3rd Party audits to include DoD, IOSA and required FSO program audits Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: 2 years' experience working in a Part 121 or 135 operation; or a Part 145 MRO. Ability to work independently or in cooperation with employees, contracted vendors and FAA Inspectors Understanding of FAA regulations in general Understanding of TSA regulations in general PREFERRED SKILLS: Working knowledge of ABX Air Manuals Auditor experience. Ability to work as a subject matter expert in ABX procedures. Understand the basic principles of SMS to include hazard identification, risk assessment, root cause analysis and risk controls. Use of Microsoft products General knowledge of aviation environment either in Maintenance, Flight Ops or Ground Operations.
